Child Safety Standards

1. Our commitment

NammaChat is designed for adults aged 18 and above. Our safety standards are intended to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), remove harmful content, restrict abusive accounts, and support lawful investigations when required.

These standards apply to public regional rooms, private chats, dating profiles, profile photos, usernames, biographies, reports, support requests, and any other content or activity submitted through NammaChat.

2. Adults-only access

• NammaChat is only for people who are 18 years old or older.
• Users must confirm they are 18+ before creating an account or entering as a guest when guest access is enabled.
• Minors are not permitted to create profiles, join chats, use dating features, or contact users through NammaChat.
• If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we may suspend or delete the account and remove related profile or chat content.

3. Prohibited child safety violations

NammaChat strictly prohibits:

• Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving a minor.
• Grooming, sextortion, coercion, blackmail, trafficking, or attempts to move a minor to another platform.
• Requests for, offers of, or links to sexual images, videos, live streams, or conversations involving minors.
• Sexual comments, roleplay, usernames, profile text, or images that sexualise minors.
• Impersonating a minor, pretending to be under 18, or encouraging a minor to misrepresent their age.
• Sharing personal information about a minor, including phone numbers, addresses, school details, photos, or social media IDs.
• Any attempt to evade detection, moderation, bans, reports, or account restrictions related to child safety.

4. Reporting safety concerns

Users can report unsafe behaviour through the in-app report feature where available, block users, or contact us directly. Reports should include the username, conversation context, date and time, and a short explanation of the concern.

5. Moderation and enforcement

NammaChat may review reports, account information, profile content, and relevant message context to investigate safety concerns. Depending on severity and available evidence, we may remove content, disable features, suspend accounts, delete accounts, block device or session access, preserve records, or take other action needed to protect users.

We may also use automated signals and sensitive-content logs to detect risky sharing such as phone numbers, email addresses, social handles, external links, payment details, and other information that can increase off-platform harm.

6. Law enforcement and authorities

When we identify credible child safety risk, CSAE, grooming, exploitation, or unlawful conduct, we may preserve and disclose relevant information to appropriate law enforcement, cybercrime, child protection, or other legally authorised authorities where required or permitted by law.

We cooperate with valid legal requests and may remove content or restrict accounts quickly when action is needed to reduce immediate risk.

The English policy above is the official child safety standard. The summaries below help users understand the most important child safety rules in commonly used NammaChat languages.

English

NammaChat is only for adults aged 18 and above. Minors are not allowed to create accounts, join chats, use dating features, or contact users. Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual comments involving minors, impersonating a minor, sharing a minor's personal information, or moving minors to another platform is strictly prohibited. Report any child safety concern through the app or email admin@nammachat.com.

NammaChat केवल 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक उम्र के वयस्कों के लिए है। नाबालिगों को अकाउंट बनाने, चैट में शामिल होने, डेटिंग फीचर इस्तेमाल करने या उपयोगकर्ताओं से संपर्क करने की अनुमति नहीं है। बच्चों से जुड़ी यौन सामग्री, ग्रूमिंग, नाबालिगों पर यौन टिप्पणी, नाबालिग बनकर धोखा देना, किसी नाबालिग की निजी जानकारी साझा करना या नाबालिगों को किसी दूसरे प्लेटफॉर्म पर ले जाने की कोशिश सख्त मना है। किसी भी बाल सुरक्षा चिंता की रिपोर्ट ऐप में करें या admin@nammachat.com पर ईमेल करें।
